Committee of VSAG regrets to advise that the Easter Wilsons Promontory weekend has been cancelled.
This year the bookings were made electronically and this meant that site requests were received "in line" of receipt by Parks and when to VSAG sites were to be actioned all sites had been booked. Tthis is an unfortunate situation caused by electronic submissions. Parks have been contacted but regrettably with no success for our intended site bookings.
Despite this situation VSAG is still keen to have an Easter diving weekend… the question now is where is the best place to go… and can we get sites at this late stage?
Initial suggestions are: Newhaven/Ocean Grove/Marlo/Portland/Warnambool/Queenscliff.
(Paces in red are long drives.)
It is most unlikely we will find 30 sites + or - now and we are calling around to determine this but it is not looking good right now!
