HMAS Adelaide for new dive site in New South Wales
The Federal Government has given the green light to sink the HMAS Adelaide as a an artificial reef and dive site off the New South Wales coast at Terrigal.
The vessel will be sunk early next year in 30 mtrs.
Tourism will be boosted in the region as it is expected somewhere between 10,000-20,000 extra people will take advantage of the new wreck dive site
