The weather had improved by Sunday so when we set out from Queenscliff before 9:00AM we had the option of heading out through the rip to Castle Rock. Greg and Emma dropped down and had an enjoyable first visit to this interesting dive site. After finally recovering the anchor we headed back inside to take advantage of the ebb slack at 11:00AM.

David and Pam followed the buoy line down the cliff face to around 100' near Spectacular Reef. After bringing the buoy back up to 80' we headed north, exploring the many undercuts at the lower end of the wall. David took the opportunity to use his camera for the second time. Back to the buoy and up to give Greg and Emma a taste of this fantastic experience.

Greg and Emma also headed down, exploring the 18 - 20m area of the wall before returning to the buoy.

After a successful recovery we headed into the area near Cottage by the Sea to get out of the noreasterly that was becoming unpleasant.
The fresh hot dogs were great for lunch and will become a staple on the boat for for the future. I had Shadow's as he had forsaken us for the delights of Philip Is.

The nor easterly had dropped again so we headed out to the 'Bommies' for Pam and David's second dive. Found some good reef and had an enjoyable 50 minutes with Pam only occasionally folding her arms and tapping her foot while David played with his new toy.

Another great day out - thanks to Greg and Emma for making it possible.
